About Dr. Safwan
Dr. Safwan Khraisheh is a Specialist Dermatologist and Venereologist with over 28 years of international clinical experience. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Petersburg State Medical Academy, graduating with First Class Honors. Furthering his expertise, he completed a Master's in Clinical Dermatology at King's College London and St. John's Institute of Dermatology at St. Thomas' Hospital, UK. He also earned a Master's in Laser Treatment of Skin Diseases and a Diploma in Genito-Urinary Medicine and Venereology from the University of Liverpool.
Dr. Safwan is a Clinical Fellow in Dermatopathology from St. John's Institute of Dermatology and is certified by the Jordan Medical Board. His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), British Dermatology Association (BDA), European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology (EADV), Jordanian Dermatology Association (JMCC), and St. John's Dermatology Association in London.
Throughout his career, Dr. Safwan has held prominent positions, including Associate Consultant and Head of the Dermatology Department at Gulf Diagnostic Hospital in Abu Dhabi, and Senior Specialist Registrar in Dermatology and Venereology at Saad Specialist Hospital in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. He has also served as a Clinical Fellow in Dermatopathology at St. John's Institute of Dermatology in London.
At Irish Wellness Medical Center, Dr. Safwan offers comprehensive dermatological care, specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. His areas of expertise include skin cancer screening and treatment, laser therapies, dermatopathology, and management of venereal diseases.
