About Akshaya Krishnan
Akshaya Krishnan is a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist with strong clinical experience working with children across diverse communication needs. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MSLP) from the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysore- one of India’s premier institutions for communication sciences.
Akshaya has worked in multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary settings, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, Speech Sound Disorders, Language Disorders, and social-communication challenges. She believes in a child-centered, evidence-based, and play-based therapy approach.
She focuses on building meaningful communication skills through functional, engaging, and developmentally appropriate strategies. Akshaya collaborates closely with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure each child receives holistic support across home, school, and therapy environments.
